Analyst One Help

Documentation for a quieter research workflow. Use this page as the living guide to Analyst One, including the core product surfaces, trust model, account settings, and subscription workflows.

01 / Start here

What Analyst One is for

Analyst One is a browser-based workspace for reading, searching, and citing dense financial documents.

Core idea

A workflow groups the documents, searches, chats, extracted entities, and draft reports that belong to one research task. Start with a deal, company, sector, or thesis, then add source material as you go.

What is live today

Build 1.0 focuses on intelligent search, document analysis, and citation-backed answers. Collaboration, API access, CLI access, and external data feeds are being staged for later releases.

  • Upload PDFs and URLs into a workflow.
  • Ask questions against your research library.
  • Open answers back to the cited source page.

02 / Documents

Importing and managing sources

Add the files and links that make up your research base, then keep them organized by workflow.

Supported source types

Analyst One is designed around PDFs first, including scanned PDFs, filings, broker notes, investor presentations, and long-form reports. URL import can fetch pages or documents from supported public links.

Document status

After import, each document moves through upload, parsing, extraction, and graph-building states. You can begin reviewing text as soon as parsing finishes; deeper entity linking may continue in the background.

03 / Search

Answers, citations, and source review

Analyst One is built around traceable answers. The citation is the contract between the answer and the source.

Asking questions

Use the chat panel for natural-language questions across the active workflow. Good questions name the company, period, metric, or document scope you care about.

Checking citations

Cited answers link back to the source context. Open the citation, review the page, and compare the generated answer against the document before using it in a memo or model.

04 / Workflows

Working across a research project

Workflows keep related files, graph context, and chats together so research stays reusable over time.

When to create a workflow

Create a new workflow for a company review, deal process, sector screen, or recurring reporting package. If two sets of documents should not share context, split them into separate workflows.

Knowledge graph

Analyst One extracts entities and relationships from your documents, then uses that graph to improve retrieval. The graph is there to help you inspect how the corpus is connected, not to replace source review.

05 / Data

Where your information lives

This section summarizes the current trust model and can be tightened as the production policy is finalized.

Temporary processing

Uploaded pages are processed by Felix infrastructure for OCR, layout recovery, entity extraction, and model-assisted cleanup. Temporary uploads are intended to be deleted after processing completes, with a short maximum retention window for failed or delayed jobs.

Local research index

The parsed research index used for search and citation is stored in your browser for the active device. Clearing browser storage, switching devices, or using a different browser may affect what is available locally.

Model provider handling

Where model calls are required, Analyst One is designed to use providers with no-training and zero-retention commitments. The final policy will name the relevant provider, region, and contract details once confirmed.

06 / Subscriptions

Creating, changing, and cancelling a plan

These instructions can be updated with billing-provider-specific details as subscriptions go live.

Create a subscription

When subscriptions are enabled, sign in to Analyst One, open Billing from your account menu, choose a plan, add payment details, and confirm the subscription. Your access level should update after the checkout flow completes.

Change a subscription

To change plan, seat count, billing interval, or payment method, open Billing and select Manage subscription. Changes may apply immediately or at the next renewal date depending on the plan and billing provider configuration.

Cancel a subscription

To cancel, open Billing, choose Manage subscription, then select Cancel plan. Access usually remains active until the end of the paid billing period. Final retention, export, and refund rules will be added once confirmed.

07 / Accounts

Sign-in, profile, and team access

Account documentation should explain what information is collected, where it can be changed, and who controls team membership.

Create an account

Create an account from the Analyst One app site using your work email. Depending on your organization, access may require approval, an invite link, or an administrator adding you to the workspace.

Update account details

Open Profile from the account menu to update display details such as name and organization information. Authentication details, email changes, and single sign-on settings may be managed through the identity provider.

Deactivate or delete an account

For account closure, contact support or use the account controls once available. The final version will include the exact deletion timeline, export options, and organization-admin responsibilities.

08 / Support

Getting help

Use support when a document will not parse, citations look wrong, or account access is blocked.

What to include

Send the workflow name, document name, page number, browser, and a short description of what you expected to happen. For citation issues, include the question you asked and the answer you received.
